They told me fibroids were just part of being a woman. I reject that.
Eating to Feel Better
Not a diet. A way of eating that doesn’t make the pain worse and doesn’t ask more of you than you have. Realistic food, real kitchens, real bad days
what I eat, what worked for me
realistic, affordable, simple
eating when you’re in pain, eating on the bad days
we adjust from there, you decide what works
Breath and Gentle Movement
When the pain is bad, my instinct used to be to tense up and hold my breath. I learned the opposite works better — for me.
So I teach what I use. Slow breathing that gives your nervous system something to hold onto. Gentle movement that keeps you connected to your body instead of bracing against it. Nothing that requires a gym, a mat, or a good day.
I’m not a physical therapist or a breathwork practitioner. These are practices I built for myself over 25 years and share with the women I coach. They’re a companion to your medical care, not a replacement for it.
Tuesday Reset
The joy of getting back to yourself, one small thing at a time. A free daily email or text — one small practice, every morning.
Communicate Your Needs
Here’s what I learned after 25 years: the problem isn’t that people don’t care. It’s that they don’t know what to do. And when you’re in pain, you don’t have the words to tell them.
